Background
An Oil & Gas company operating a large network of petrol stations needed a better way to analyze performance across locations. Financial and transactional data was stored in multiple formats and systems, leading to time-consuming and error-prone reporting.
What We Did
We designed and implemented an Excel-based reporting automation solution:
- Consolidated financial and transactional data from various internal sources.
- Automated data import and transformation using Power Query.
- Developed VBA-powered workflows to refresh reports and distribute them to stakeholders.
- Added logical checks to identify missing records, inconsistent pricing, or misaligned cost data.
